How To Play

Our challenges are monthly, going live at 4:00 AM Mountain Time on the first day of every month and run until 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the last day of the month. We alternate specified themes with Anything Goes throughout the year!

Effective January 1, 2020, our Winners are randomly chosen to give everyone an equal chance of winning our challenges, however, our DT Favorites are still chosen on merit by our design team. Our Winners and DT Favorites are announced on the 5th of the month following the close of each challenge. We no longer solicit sponsorship so there are no prizes. We play for *FUN* ... for WINNER and DT FAVORITE badges. There may occasionally be a goody bag of craft supplies thrown in by the blog owner or some blog candy scattered for a lucky winner!

You must follow the specified theme unless we're playing Anything Goes.

You may enter up to five (different) projects in our challenges and you may combine our challenges with as many others as you wish.

Link just your project - not your entire blog - to our challenge via the link-up tool at the end of the challenge post. List our challenge in your blog post and link back to us. Link-ups via other means of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and/or Twitter) must also list our challenge and include a link back to us. 

No back-linking, please. Your project must be new and never posted to your blog or other social media prior to the date of the challenge. 

Absolutely no digitally-created projects - we want to see tangible handmade creations.

Hi Andrea - We have to be able to see your project. So that means wherever you post your project photo, you will need to also post a direct link to our challenge. Then, you will need to link up to our challenge using our LinkyTool with a direct link to the site where you have posted your project photo. Blogs are definitely the easiest method. Hope this helps!
